Dice!

I started playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends on Discord, so my dice collection has exploded. (I had some already for random number generation). Between Kickstarters and websites, it’s hard to resist buying MORE.

But because so many of them have white numbers, I re-inked several sets (I’d have done more but I can’t get silver craft paint right now). I started simple:

Red and black Chessex dice. Originially inked in silver and I switched it to gold.
light blue and clear dice with pale orange numbers
This was a kickstarter set. It took a couple of tries to find the right color for these. There’s some subtle glitter in there, but it doesn’t show very well.

Then I decided to get fancy and do gradients!

green and black diffusion dice
A different kickstarter. I love the diffusion dice. Yellow with a subtle bright green gradient. On the d4, I do the gradient over the whole face. These are my druid’s dice (unless they roll badly, in which case I have other green dice)
green and black diffusion dice
It’s a bit hard to see, but the gradient in the numbers goes from the bottom to the top (more or less).
These was a set of d10s I got early on. I just added some light blue to the bottom of the numbers (very carefully).

Re-inking is very easy (I just use craft paint). If you have a lot of dice, consider it! And now ALL THE DICE
