If you follow me on twitter or Facebook you’ve already seen me talking (incessantly, on Twitter) about this, but here’s an official announcement: I’ve started producing a podcast. I’m writing, voicing, and editing it, and I’m open to suggestions.
It’s called A Heroic Moment and it’s a short (about five minutes) podcast set at the radio station of a school for heroes. I’m going to try to be just as diverse as I can – there are already scripts written involving trans, fat, deaf, and wheelchair-using heros. And, yes, I’ll be providing transcripts.
You can listen and comment at http://aheroicmoment.libsyn.com and it should show up in Itunes, Google Play, and Spotify in the next couple of days if it hasn’t already.
This is my life, y’all. She’s going to be so sad when my job starts and I’m only home on the weekends again.
I’ve finished re-writing the first White Knight story! I need to proofread it and if possible get it beta-read, then make an illustration or two for it, but it’s done!
I started listening to Productivity Alchemy, a podcast about productivity methods, planners, and what works and doesn’t work for different people. (It’s produced by Kevin Sonney, with help from his wife, Ursula Vernon, who are two of my favorite people. And Kevin has a very nice voice)
This inspired me to create a planner for myself that would take into account my executive dysfunction and general low energy. And I kept meaning to do a post about it, so here it is.

Apparently I don’t get to get up and have breakfast. The purrmonster is holding me captive.
Five Times Delia Learned About Gender and One Time She Didn’t
Content Notes: anti-trans prejudice, accidental misgendering, gender essentialism, shunning, and past oppressive governments. As always, please tell me if I missed anything and I’ll add it right away.
See story notes at the bottom.
This is dedicated to Ana Mardoll

Spooky is not a lap cat (Heidi even less so) but she purrs like wow when I hold her. As long as I don’t move. And she’s on my LEFT shoulder. And no one comes too close. And there are no loud noises.
Cats. Whatcha gonna do?
The chair on the right is one of Spooky’s thrones. Heidi generally sleeps under the couch
Spooky plays with toys more than Heidi does and she loved pulling them out of boxes!
I used to take pics of the cage layout. Here’s one from when they were young and tiny. Can you spot Allard?
A very young Nayda. So tiny!
